Bedtime Tales of Horror Slugs edition by Bradley Poage Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks
"Slugs" is an addition to the "Bedtime Tales of Horror" series by Bradley Poage. I've read lots of the short stories in this series, and "Slugs" has got to be in the top 2 or 3 as far as the "creep" factor goes.Kevin had high hopes for his Science experiment. He had found a superior answer to a global problem. Now all he needed was a First Place Award from the judges, and his fortunes were set. But not everybody could see the advantages of his discovery.
To better impress the judges, Kevin brought one of them to his lab, so she could observe his discovery in action. She would quickly change her tune, after seeing how efficient Kevin's little "pet project" turned out.
But she was only one judge. Kevin might need to bring them all over to observe his project at work.
This one really creeped me out for a couple reasons. Not least is the fact that as a toddler (I still remember this as if it were yesterday, although it was in the 1950s) I found and picked up a handful of slimy, squirmy slugs, and put them in my mouth. I walked into the house with a mouthful of the things popping and squishing as I chewed.
My mother was not impressed. In retrospect, I am appalled that I did such a thing, and to this day I cannot stand seeing a slug. So reading a story - even a short story - about slugs naturally brings back not-so-pleasant memories.
I'd like to share the feeling with you all, so why not grab a copy of this story and see how YOU like the thought of... well, you'll have to read it for yourself. I don't want to spoil it for anybody!

Bedtime Tales of Horror Slugs edition by Bradley Poage Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
I think you just found a solution to the garbage issue that is plaguing the world Mr. Poage, Good Job!
a science experiment, a mad scientist, and making the scientist angry is a dangerous mixture! One judge finds out when she laughs at his exhibit and he follows her home. I loved it from start to finish!
